An amateur dramatic society that although formed in 1959 – but can be traced back 20 years prior to this to 1939. Assisted with WW2 effort and the Festival of Britain in the summer of 1951. Bringing theatre, entertainment and culture to the local community - many of whom could not normally afford theatre outings and some of whom had never been to the theatre before attending our performances.
With the support of approximately 50 amateur actors and back stage volunteers, Windsor Theatre Guild usually stages three main performances per year to several thousand audience. We also host and support a youth acting club.
