Geographical remit:

Wiltshire Rural Music bring live music and music making workshops to communities within Wiltshire. We support young people with bursaries and instrument hire, as well as hosting events, music groups and recitals at our Trowbridge hub.

For the elderly, we send musicians into care homes, alzheimer's hubs and age UK day centres to provide musical entertainment, either to stir memory, to singalong, or simply to break up the day.

We run monthly lunchtime concerts for anyone to attend - providing an hour of music for £5 which includes all refreshments and a high quality concert.

We support low income families who need help for musical tuition, also offering an annual young musician's award for an inspiring young talent who is heading off to study in further education.

We run singular projects in the community - songwriting workshops with vulnerable groups, instrument trials with schools, live music in rural areas, all depending on how our funding is provided.
