The What a Wonderful World Trust is a small but vibrant climate action charity based around Alnwick in North Northumberland. Our mission is to make a positive difference to the way local people think and act about the climate emergency through a festival of arts, sciences and the natural world.

Our aims are:

- to create awareness of the beauty and wonder of the planet and the threats to all its inhabitants

- to engage people of all ages in arts and science-related activities which will help us understand our predicament and take action that will help prevent further damage and disasters

- to work in partnership with like-minded organisations to grow our understanding, raise our voices and support each other.

We run an annual festival of arts, science and the natural world, based around Alnwick Playhouse and the Alnwick Garden. We have started to run events beyond Alnwick in collaboration with other organisations. The charity was registered in August 2021 and has now run a one day event and 2 full weekend festivals. The next weekend festival will take place in June 2024.
