Objectives

Ware Stockport's only charity supporting people with a sight and hearing loss.

We have a range of services and activities, largely run by volunteers. As a small local charity with no Council funding we rely on volunteers to fundraise for the organisation. There are lots of ways to get involved, whether it is volunteering on a weekly or short-term ad hoc basis.

Activities

Our activities and services include weekly social groups, equipment resource centre, tandem cycling club, youth club - all require volunteers. We are also specifically looking for receptionist and admin volunteers.

With regards to fundraising, we take part in a range of community events and initiatives throughout the year. We regularly update our FR volunteers with the latest that is happening in support of the charity, and you are free to choose which event or initiative you would like to support.
