Wakefield and District Health and Community Support is an independent grant making charity with a Vision to create a stronger, healthier, more equal Wakefield, where charities, community organisations and other partners work together to support people to thrive.

Our mission is to build communities where organisations work together to improve health and reduce health inequalities, especially for the most disadvantaged people, groups and communities. As an independent grant maker we provide financial and practical support to help build sustainable change within the district.
