Volunteering Moldova is a registered non-profit charity that aims to benefit the lives of vulnerable people living in state run institutions in Moldova. We are able to do this in two ways: volunteering and financial support.
We are passionate about making a difference to the lives of those living in institutions in Moldova.
Volunteers are essential to what we do and are our lifeline to achieving our goals. We do not have any paid staff and everyone who works with the charity is a volunteer. Volunteers can be anyone from any background, no previous charity experience required, just a passion to help the charity succeed.
We support three state run institutions in Moldova, a children’s orphanage, a small group home and a institution for disabled males.
Our volunteer program allows volunteers to work in the institutions and to provide one to one interaction with the residents that they would not otherwise have.
Our financial support allows us to buy supplies for the institutions as requested. These supplies include but are not limited to: nappies, food, general goods, sanitary items, medication, and baby supplies.
The trustees cover the running costs of the charity, to ensure that all donations make a direct difference to the lives of those living in institutions in Moldova.
