Objectives

We provide lawn bowling opportunities to local people.  We have the largest Adults with Learning Difficulties and Junior Sections in Bowls Surrey.  We stage events in the Park attended by 500+.  Victory Park is the largest dedicated war memorial in the U.K. and has a unique atmosphere, originally financed through a public campaign from members of the public.  We believe that local volunteering people among park-goers are the best people to manage and develop local parks, as the principle beneficiaries of its good management..

Activities

Public Events (outside clubhouse)

Public Activities (inside clubhouse)

Junior Section.

Adults with Learning Difficulties Section.

New Community Sections.  (Community engagement).

Clubhouse Community Cafe.

In 2021 we voted for values of Accessibility, Inclusivity and Financial Self-Sufficiency.   Before then we kept the public out (and were reduced to just 5 members, now we welcome them with open arms.

We are signing a lease from the council which will allow us to do more community engagement as we will be able to invite community groups onto our green, without them being subject to Council green fees. A lease also gives confidence to funders and helps give us freedoms to develop new income streams from our prime position in the park.
