Objectives

VICTA is a national charity that provides support to children and young adults from 0 to 29 who are blind or partially sighted and their families. VICTA believes that everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life. VICTA’s support, advice, grants and activities enable young people and their families to build skills, develop confidence and help each other toward a more positive future.

Activities

VICTA organises activities designed to improve the emotional, social and living skills of the children and young adults that we support. We run activities for a range of age groups including early years, families, 10 to 13 years, 14 to 17 years and 18 to 29 years.

Grant applications can be made towards the purchase of equipment which helps with your visual impairment e.g. Braillers, computers and magnification software.
