Objectives

We want to help every student make the most of their university experience at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

We exist to champion their opinions, stand up for their rights, provide free advice, support their communities, and run events and activities.

We're a dynamic charity with over 25,000 members nationwide - every student at UWTSD is automatically a member for free, no matter where or how they study.

University is a great opportunity, but it's not always plain sailing. We're the people students can turn to for advice and representation. The university experience is more than just studies - we help our members make friends, volunteer in their community, and enjoy fun events.

Activities

  • We run a student-led representation system across the whole University; our members elect their representatives through student elections.
  • We offer a free academic advice service.
  • We help students run their own sports clubs, societies and groups.
  • We run a platform where students can submit ideas to improve the University experience.
  • We carry out reports on issues affecting the student experience and report them to the University and external bodies.
  • We deliver student-wellbeing focused projects.
  • We help students find volunteering opportunities.
  • We run free and paid events throughout the year.
  • We run three bars across our campuses.
