Objectives

We are a mental health charity who behan as a national helpline in June 2020. Since then we have opened several response units with the local areas to help people within the community at closer range.

Activities

We have a free phone number and email address to which all of our volunteers are qualified to mental health first aid level 2 and first aid trained.

We talk to those who need us. We also respond to those who need us.

We are able to signpost

We hold community events to bring the community back together, like our talk and walks. We also work alongside other charities to enable the community to reintegrate after the challenging times of late.

We have a team of counsellors tat we are able to refer to, with a 10 to 14 day waiting list and a BACP registered. We also on occasion are able to fund some of these sessions, depending on personal circumstances.

We host online groups weekly, talk Tuesday, to which is set through zoom and streamed through Facebook. Anyone can join these and there are responders, first aiders, counsellors, Trainee counsellors and alternative therapists online to help people through these sessions.
