University of Manchester Students' Union is a vibrant organisation with 40,000 members and is an exciting place to work.

Student life is not just about studying. It’s about making friends, gaining skills and experience, taking a stand, earning a crust, exploring a new city and getting the right support from the University.

We’re the UK’s largest Students’ Union, providing students with space, resource and money to amplify student life.

Over 400 Student Societies, Volunteering, Food and music venues, Student Voice exists to represent the views and interests of our 40,000 students to the University and to ensure that our voices are heard on a National and local scale. Through our Exec Team, Decision Making, the student voice is amplified, and received loud and clear. The Students’ Union has three popular and nationally reputable Student Media outlets, The Mancunion, Fuse FM, and Fuse TV. All three are based in the Activities Space on the first floor of the Union, and are always looking for new volunteers, whether you have prior experience or not. We also provide Advice Services for students and initiate and participate in Community Outreach and Education projects.
