Objectives

UK Islamic Mission (UKIM) is a faith-based charity whose purpose is to serve humanity, nationally and internationally, an in particular the poor and needy including orphans, widows, refugees, the disabled, elderly and disaster victims.

We provide short-term and immediate humanitarian relief (giving dignity) and long-term sustainable development projects (giving self-reliance).

This works helps alleviate suffering and provide a means for the poor to escape poverty.

Activities

Our work to provide short term and immediate humanitarian relief is in response to disaster situations such as earthquakes, tsunamis and floods. In these cases we provide assistance for the basics of life including water, food, medical care and shelter.

Our work to provide long-term sustainable development includes building water facilities for clean and safe water, child sponsorships providing for the basics of life in the long-term, education programmes, building mosques in rural locations so that all Muslims can access a place of worship, and more.
