Research shows that language skills at 5 is one of the best predictors of
whether a child living in disadvantage will escape the cycle of poverty later in
life.

Twinkleboost trains new parents from socio-economically disadvantaged
backgrounds in powerful strategies used by Speech Therapists, to boost their
child’s language development. We deliver this training in the non-threatening
context of a parent and baby class, led by Speech and Language Therapy
Assistants. We use puppets, games, songs and sensory play as a stimulus to
practice language strategies.

We also deliver an Autism programme and a programme to families of children with SEN and deliver programmes in nurseries and schools.
