We provide counselling to anyone over the age of 14 in the Brighouse and Rastrick area, although we do accept referrals from a wider area. We are the only organisation in our area who offer an affordable for all counselling service in our area. We have been in operation for 19 years and currently have 8 fully qualified, volunteer counsellors and 3 student counsellors. In 2019/2020 we provided nearly 1000 counselling sessions. We are a Christian based organisation having been set up by a parishioner from one of our local churches in 2002.
We meet our objectives by providing the only affordable counselling service in our area of Brighouse and Rastrick, a total population of nearly 34,000 people. We provide our service to anyone over the age of 14 and plan to have counsellors in our local secondary schools in the near future to assist young adults who have been affected by the current pandemic.
