Objectives

TOLFA is an animal hospital and shelter based in rural Rajasthan, India. We run rabies vaccination and sterilisation programmes for street dogs. Rescue and care for sick and injured animals, education for local people and rural animal health. We are working to eradicate rabies in our area and increase the health and wellbeing of both animals and people in the community.

Activities

We have rabies vaccinated over 42,000 dogs since 2005. We treat up to 600 animals a day at our hospital. Our rescue vehicles covers a 35 km radius and receives an average 50 calls a day. Every day we run a free clinic for the animals of local villagers. We run education projects for children and adults in the local area, including animal therapy for disabled children.
