The objective of TTD is to build resilience in our local community. We recognise the potential threats of climate change, energy shocks and financial upheaval. Our response is to take practical action through developing local food production and share skills whilst building community.
We have already established three orchards and have until last year successfully run a community vegetable growing initiative (Underlanche Farm). We also care for a flock of geese, have 8 thriving bee hives, have planted hundreds of trees and are developing a forest garden.
