Objectives

A school based in rural Zambia with the aim of advancing the education and life opportunities of local children. The UK charity provides funds for the school, including all education-related costs, administration, maintenance and capital projects. The school provides primary education for 277 children, plus financial support for secondary and tertiary education, and also looks after the welfare of the children through various food, health, and extra-curricular support schemes. The UK charity also provides funds for community projects for residents of villages local to the school where these projects are designed to provide residents with education and an occupation.

Activities

The school has a comprehensive structure that manages and monitors all aspects of the school's services including a UK-based trustee board registered in the UK, a local Board of Management in Zambia that oversees day-to-day running of the school, a highly qualified Head Teacher, and a supportive staff Management Team.
