Three Feathers is a tiny charity dedicated to introducing the magic of theatre to children (including babies) and their families, in South London and beyond. We aim, through workshops and shows, to foster a love of drama and theatre at an early stage in the lives of our audiences. We want to make a lifelong love of theatre an accessible option for families in our local area.
Our methodology as theatre makers is to carefully workshop a story with children, and use their reactions to and interpretations of the story to devise and shape a theatrical show performed by adult actors. Recently, we’ve developed workshops and a show aimed at ages 0-18 months as part of our goal to continue developing a niche in creating theatrical experiences for very young children.
We also link drama and play for our young audiences through sensory cafes and video output across our online platforms.
