Thera supports adults with a learning disability at home, in their local community and for short breaks. Thera's vision explains what the objectives are which run through our organisation:

Thera will be led by a charity
Thera Group has a number of locally focused companies which provide complex direct support by teams of social care and support staff. This enables the people with a learning disability who we work with, to have full choice and control in their lives and of the design and delivery of their support. Our dedicated teams work with people supporting them in their day to day lives and to have full access to opportunities in their local community.
We also have a number of specialist companies that, for example, provide quality assurance and financial advocacy services.
Our organisational approach is that of leadership and involvement by people with a learning disability. Each board has a paid Executive Director with experience of learning disability. They, alongside a professionally qualified Managing Director, make up the executive team on the board.
