Objectives

The Partnership is established to conserve, protect and maintain the coastal, environmental and natural heritage of the Thames for the public benefit. It covers Tower Bridge to Southend, Isle of Grain and Shoeburyness. It is a trusted neutral network running workshops and projects on biodiversity, planning, education, maintenance dredging liasion, research, recreation, archaeology and fisheries.

Activities

Thames Estuary Partnership (TEP) runs 8 main action groups on topics including:

  • Fisheries
  • Archaeology

 

TEP also produces Project based work when partners indicate that this is needed, i.e. Thames Strategy East, Thames Tidal Habitat Action Plan, State of the Estuary, Research agenda, Thames Estuary Flood Risk Workshops (with EA)
