Tetbury Hospital Trust was threatened with closure in the early 90’s having been owned and operated previously by the NHS. The local community answered a call to action to save its valuable community asset and successfully established Tetbury Hospital Trust as a Charity and independent healthcare provider in 1992. The Charity owns the premises of Tetbury Hospital Trust and is financially sustainable. This has allowed the hospital to continue to offer vital NHS services supporting people to access care closer to home. Whilst the majority of services provided are commissioned by the NHS, the hospital also offers private services to self-pay and insured patients.
Tetbury Hospital Trust provides care closer to home to NHS and private patients through the services it delivers. The hospital is a valued partner of local NHS services serving patients across Gloucestershire, Bath, Swindon & Wiltshire. The Hospital has an urgent care facility delivered through its Minor Injury and Illness Unit, Outpatients Department, Day Surgery Unit and X-Ray.
