Tandemonium is a Cheltenham-based group for visually impaired people to get out on bikes, even if they don't have enough sight to ride. Using tandems, the visually impaired person rides behind a sighted pilot to explore new places, keep fit, make friends and, most importantly, to have fun! People with vision problems often have difficulties accessing sport and leisure activities; for them, Tandemonium hopes to be freedom on wheels!
It is still early days for our community group, but we plan to offer organised tandem bike rides, initially in the parks and on the cycle paths of Cheltenham, on a monthly basis.
