Tailored Yarn writes and illustrates bespoke stories to preserve memories and bring comfort and healing to children experiencing bereavement. This is pioneering a new product of great value to grieving families as it will encourage children to talk about loved ones who have passed away. It's like the popular idea of memory boxes but in the unique form of a literature legacy.
I'm building a network with other charities in the grief and bereavement sector to see if we can work together on these story projects. I've built four social media platforms from scratch and would like to expand onto Pintrest. I've build a website which requires more work. As we want to give these special memory books to families free of charge we've done a fair bit of fundraising and grant applications.
