Organisational aims from our constitution:
(a) To advance education through playing tabletop games with patients in hospital and their families in Scotland.
(b) To advance the health and wellbeing of hospital patients and their families by using tabletop games as a means to socialise and reduce the impact of health conditions and illnesses.
(c) To advance citizenship and community development through playing tabletop games in hospital and at organised events in the community.
(d) To provide recreational facilities by making tabletop games accessible at allocated times and through a lending library.
(e) To relieve those in need of care and support as a result of health conditions and illnesses.
We provide mental health support for people in their time of need through teaching and playing tabletop games. We provide a life-line for people that are feeling lonely, isolated and frustrated. We provide a listening ear as well as a distraction and some fun, which are very helpful and support improvements to mental health and wellbeing.
We teach and play tabletop games to individuals and groups, in hospitals and through community groups.
