Objectives

At Swindon and Royal Wootton Bassett Sea Cadets we offer fun and adventurous activities with young people aged 10-18, giving them confidence, skills and qualifications to launch well in today's world.

We are looking to grow our team of volunteers which would enable us to offer even more opportunities to young people in our community.  You could be helping run a range of activities with young people or volunteer behind the scenes with our team of Trustees - we have a role to suit you.

Activities

Our cadets take part in a range of activities on and off the water including:

- Boating activities - rowing, sailing, kayaking, powerboating and more!

- Activities based on the customs and traditions of today's Royal Navy

- Team work and leadership activities

- First Aid training

We also offer a fantastic training programme for volunteers who are interested in learning and teaching any of the above.

None of this could happen without our fantastic volunteers who support in a range of ways from ensuring we run in a safe way to fundraising, teaching and admin to name just a few.
