Objectives

Swansea Community Workshops is a community where people can come together to socialise and share workshop resources. We invite people who are socially disadvantaged by factors like loneliness, unemployment, bereavement, disabling conditions or other personal circumstances, and who will lift their spirits by pursuing craft hobbies, acquiring skills from other members and socialising.

Activities

We provide fully equiped workshops so that people can work in major crafts for leisure or serious interest, and training courses in a range of practical disciplines,e.g. stained glass working, carpentry, pottery, enanelling, etc. We also provide educational employment & self-help training as the need arises. All of the above is conducted with the backup of a community hub, multi-function meeting rooms and a shop facility.
