Swan exists to relieve need and hardship amongst people in Bath and North East Somerset and surrounding areas by providing a range of advice, information and access services. Currently we operate 3 transport schemes with a team of volunteer drivers using their own cars. The service is available to those on low incomes who are elderly or disabled who are unable to afford taxis or to access public transport. Our transport service makes a huge difference to these people - reducing their isolation, enabling them to attend health appointments or social functions or simply to go to the shops and be part of the local community, and helping to maintain their independence.
