SWALLOW enables teenagers and adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as they wish. We respond to individual needs by providing flexible support to our members.
Based in Bath and North East Somerset, all our services are influenced by what our members tell us they need and want to achieve. Everything we do focuses on helping the people we support live life to the fullest through user-led support.
We currently support more than 150 teenagers and adults in the local area.
Supported Housing
2 x Community Cafes run by our members with support from staff
Other Work Skills opportunities - making positive contribution to society through meaningful employment, such as making crafts to sell, horticulture (garden maintenance & selling hanging baskets etc)
Courses & Day Activities - a range of day activities to allow creativity and expression such as art, drama, cookery and life skills.
Outreach & Community Support - one to one support in peoples homes and in the community.
Base House - Independent Living Skills Training House - a 4 bedroom training home specialising in preparing teenagers and adults with learning disabilities for independence.
