Geographical remit: 


To relieve the mental and physical impact of persons resident in Bognor Regis suffering from
bullying and psychological duress by the provision of advice, mentoring and support for such
persons aged 11-18 years.

To provide assistance through conciliation for persons aged 11-18 years whose relationships
with others appear to be breaking down, and where such relationships have already broken
down, to advise and help in the settlement of differences or potential differences over
associated matters.

The promotion of equality and diversity by;

(a) eliminating discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, disability, sexual
orientation, religion, social background or financial status;

(b) advancing education and raising awareness in equality and diversity;

(c) promoting activities to foster understanding between people from different

To promote social inclusion by preventing people aged 11-18 years from becoming socially
excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to
integrate into society.

To advance in life and help young people aged 11-18 years through:

(a) The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of
social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life;

(b) Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities
to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.

To act as a resource for young people aged 11-18 years living in the Bognor Regis area by
providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and
other activities as a means of:

(a) advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and
capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and
responsible individuals;

(b) advancing education and understanding of relationships and life experiences;

(c) improving school attendance and attainment by assisting educational establishments
in the support of young people;

(d) providing social and recreational activities in the interests of social welfare for people
living in the area of Bognor Regis benefit who have need by reason of their youth,
social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of
such persons.


Sussex Against Bullying is a youth organisation based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, providing a youth club and holiday project for young people aged between 11-18 who have been affected by bullying.
