Objectives

Survivors’ Poetry is a survivor-led arts group coordinating artistic activities, using poetry to make connections between creativity and mental health. SP promotes poetry workshops, readings, performances, music, visual arts, and publishing, recording and other arts activities by and for survivors of the mental health system as a means to wellbeing.

SP promotes poetry workshops, readings, performances, music, visual arts, and publishing, recording and other arts activities by and for survivors of the mental health system as a means to wellbeing.

SP raises a quarterly newsletter, Survivors' Express, featuring a poetry broadsheet and the graphic artwork of survivors. SP publishes pamphlets and collections as part of the Mentoring Scheme as well as translations and anthologies. SP also runs monthly poetry readings including open mic feature at the Poetry Cafe in Covent Garden.
