Objectives

Surrey Youth Focus is a fantastic youth charity which aims to “significantly improve the lives of young people.” We have 3 main areas of work:

1. Championing the Youth Sector: We promote good practice and innovation, and we develop and assist our members, charities and voluntary organisations, to deliver the best for their young people.

2. Empowering Young People: Encouraging and inspiring young people to take action to improve the world around them and to have their voices heard.

3. Inspiring Collaboration: Generating opportunities and solving problems for young people through our innovative Communilab Community - encouraging collaboration between voluntary organisations, charities, businesses, schools and the public sector.

The Charity has been established in Surrey for more than 25 years and has high profile Patrons including the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, the High Sheriff; as well as the Chairman of Surrey County Council. With only 3.29 FTE Surrey Youth Focus has been described by the Charities Commission as “punching way above its weight”.
