Our Charity's objective is to preserve and protect the good health of people living with or in remission from life changing conditions by the provision of physical and holistic support.
The charity provides a specialised intervention for those seeking supported rehabilitation both physically and emotionally following their individual breast cancer journey via our 'In the Pink' Breast Cancer rehabilitation Programme provision.
Our programmes are designed on an individual basis to provide a 'stepping stone solution into mainstream physical activity vital to condition management long term, optimising longevity and decreasing the possible re-occurrence as well as regaining a sense of confidence, self-esteem and greater wellbeing.
This specific programme is delivered at community level away from the clinical setting, using local community facilities and 'taster' session providers who deliver within the area. This enables us to facilitate the 'stepping stone' process of integration, of greater physical activity and a wider network of support within their own community.

'The programme quite simply gave me back my life. Before I couldn't walk up the stairs without stopping as I was out of breath. I was very guarded about my operation scar and wasn't using my right arm fully. I felt lost and didn't know where to start or how to get my life back together again. I am so glad the programme found me as it helped me remember what normal felt like again. It gave me back my energy and focus that enabled me to make sense of everything that had happened to me. It gave me confidence and exercise to improve my mobility. It helped me to understand physically and mentally how I was feeling and gave me the most amazing, brave and courageous new friends.'
We currently provide the 'In the Pink' Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Programme and are working to expand the programme to other regions. During 2019 the charity is developing its second programme for Prostate Cancer, providing a multi generational and educational programme.
The Charity continues to fundraise as well as resource funding solutions to continue its provisions.
