The company’s activities will provide benefit to people remaining in Ukraine following the Russian invasion on 24 February 2022.
We are a nonprofit started by a Ukrainian student (studying in the US but located in London for a semester) following the invasion of their country by Russia in February. Since March, we have been raising money to acquire and ship essential supplies into the country via can, plane and bus. The director of the company frequently flies shipments into Poland which are then taken across the border by volunteers who then distribute supplies.
Supplies include medicine, medical equipment, first-aid equipment, communication tech, protective gear, winter clothes, camouflage and more... We have even purchased and delivered a van used by medics on the front line to transport injured Ukrainians.
We have delivered over 200 pre-medical tactical kits and over 300 items of protective gear since starting. We have also raised over £60,000 since March and impacted over 500 lives.
We regularly are in communications with Ukrainians still in the country to identify what we should be prioritising across our activities. We frequently ship supply packages into Ukraine via the most affordable and safest routes available, whether that by car, bus or van. The director of the company flies into Poland to deliver supplies on a regular basis, and our founder enters Ukraine to help with distribution whenever possible. We work with other non-profits and charities in order to maximise our impact and keep costs low.
