Objectives

Suicide Crisis runs the first Suicide Crisis Centre of its kind in the country. We provide face to face intensive support to people who are at risk of suicide. In the two years that we have been providing services, we have never had a suicide of a client under our care. This is attracting national attention to the work that we are doing.

Activities

We have a well-trained team, providing support at our Suicide Crisis Centre. We also go out to clients' homes when they are at imminent risk, or when they are too unwell to visit our centre. Clients also have access to our emergency phone lines. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

There is interest from other parts of the UK in setting up similar centres.
