Objectives

We provide a specialist, highly trained, volunteer search and rescue service to search for missing children and vulnerable adults working alongside and at the specific request of Suffolk Constabulary and assisting other Lowland Rescue teams when required.

Activities

As a member of Lowland Rescue we train to recognised national standards. We maintain an array of equipment at our HQ - an incident control vehicle equipped with radios computers and printers, a boat, rescue raft, bikes, kayaks, a drone, stretchers and trailers. in the past two years we have trained on 108 occasions totalling 16572 and been called upon by the Police 75 times providing 6973 hours of trained search personnel.
