Our vision is to promote the prevention of knife crime within the UK by raising awareness concerning this epidemic and it's catastrophic impact, educating and supporting with the longer term effects that this can cause, such as Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression and other forms of mental health. Using the provision of school-based interventions, workshops and talk sessions we will be outlining the dangers and consequences of knife crime.
At SYKC, we will support the community by addressing the knife crime issues through delivering informative, interactive and engaging talk sessions, which will encourage children and young people to deter from carrying a knife or using a knife as a weapon, helping our youth to develop the skills and understanding needed to identify risky situations. We will be creating impactful imagery and media to highlight the catastrophic effects that can be caused due to knife crime.
