Objectives

Stonewall Housing works to ensure lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people live in safer homes, free from fear, and where we can celebrate our identity and support each other to achieve our full potential. We are specialists in LGBT+ housing issues and understand the complexity of issues that we face as communities. We want to offer as many specific and effective projects as possible so that we can help the most hard to reach, vulnerable cases that are often invisible or too problematic for generic services to manage. We provide 4 core services to the LGBT+ communities: - Safe spaces for our community to live in (supported accommodation for 51 LGBT+ people). - Free, confidential and legal housing advice via a daily advice line and drop ins. - Domestic abuse services to safeguard and support LGBT+ people experiencing violence and abuse. - Mental health advocacy for LGBT+ people who are homeless.
