Objectives

Stockport CP Society Values

We are an organisation which provides high quality and relevant activities and support to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities and that of their parents and carers.

We do this by :

Valuing people with disabilities, their families and carers and promoting equality of opportunity so that the disability does not define who they are.

Listening, learning and responding to what people say with patience, empathy and understanding

Recruiting, retaining and valuing well trained and experienced staff who are dedicated, caring, committed and fulfilled in providing care and support.

Supporting people to understand and find their way through welfare and health systems.

Ensuring that people experience enjoyment and fulfilment by maintaining and forming relationships with people they share interests with and by boosting confidence, capability and independence.

Doing what we know we do well, making the most of all the resources at our disposal, whilst being open to innovative ideas.

Providing high quality and relevant activities and support

Developing and sustaining an open minded culture, receptive to learning and improving

Working co-operatively and collaboratively, both internally and externally, to enable individuals to achieve success.
