Objectives

WE ARE A UNIQUE CHARITY SUPPORTING CREATIVITY & WELLBEING

Our mission is to promote positive social change by creating opportunities for people to come together and play a more active part in their community. Our projects anchor us in the community, providing spaces for residents to eat, shop, learn, create, and enjoy a diverse cultural program.

Activities

The Gallery Cafe offers a vegan menu with many locally-sourced options, as well as serving as a popular events venue. Yoganest provides a variety of  affordable yoga,  dance and fitness classes. Our charity shop, Ayoka, is a wellspring of low-cost and fashionable clothing, housewares, books, records, and CDs. The Create Place  is our arts space, offering workshops, classes and studio hire to the community.

Our extensive arts programme is especially curated for our local community and we work with local tutors, mentors, and practitioners.

Our buildings are home to more than 25 community organisations and charities and many others that hire our rooms for their meetings, training sessions, and events.

All the profits go back into the community, enabling us to run volunteer programmes and support local individuals and organisations.
