Objectives

St John's School and College is a charity that works with young people aged between 7-25 with complex learning disabilities. We offer residential and educational opportunities for our learners, whilst preparing them for the next step in life.

Activities

We continually strive to strengthen and improve the positive impact we have on our learners, transforming their lives, as well as our own, through our work

  • We aspire to become known nationally as an organisation that “makes a difference”
  • We continually strive to innovate – finding new and more effective ways to educate, enable and serve our learners
  • We sustain rigour in our work – holding high standards and expectations for both our learners and for ourselves
  • We approach our work with compassion – acknowledging the whole person, working with integrity and caring; accepting young people where they are, and moving them forward, without sacrificing standards or expectations; bringing joy, honesty, and understanding to our work
