To preserve Brunel’s SS Great Britain in the Great Western Dockyard for all time and for the benefit of the public.
To develop public knowledge and promote the study of maritime & industrial engineering, maritime and social history and the life and works of I.K. Brunel.
We make our collection as accessible as possible to the public, and with the help of our volunteer team we are able to offer talks, tours and interactive activities to our visitors.
We are building a new museum for 2018 - Being Brunel - that will make even more of our incredible collection public.
