Objectives

Sporting Force is a registered charity (England, Wales and Scotland) designed to help people from the Armed Forces including the Army, Navy and the RAF, both veterans and serving forces to re-integrate into civilian life.

Our aim is to provide support to a broad range of people; those with serious injuries, those who have been diagnosed with PTSD or other mental health issues and those who are simply finding it difficult to cope with the transition from military to civilian life.

Activities

Recovery & Wellness Centre- We have an onsite Gym and Recovery & Wellness Centre which consist of resistance/hydro pool and Sauna. We use this to aid recovery of injuries cause by military service.

Dandelion Project- Deals with veteran/serving forces and their families. We organise weekend family camps to help those families bond more. We also take the families on funded day trips in the school holidays.

Military Mental Health First Aid Course- Which help to give veterans/serving forces, their families and Military support organisations to get a better understanding in Mental Health Issues that may arise due to military service.
