Objectives

From our Centre in Westcliff, we offer friendly support, practical advice and fun social activities to ensure that those living with sight loss can continue to lead independent, active and fulfilling lives.

Activities

We offer practical advice and guidance over the phone or in person to help with: magnification and lighting, low vision equipment in the home, IT support and benefits advice.

We also have a "Talk and Support"  phone service for those who would like to chat to one of our volunteers on a regular basis.

We have a full diary of social events for people of all ages from coffee mornings, to weekly bowling, to pub meet ups and children's events.

We have an Eye Clinic Liaison Officer based at Southend Hospital offering practical advice and emotional support.
