Our beneficiaries are anyone who lives in the South Hams who values its natural beauty, history and character.
In order to protect the South Hams and in particular the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we:
* Encourage high standards of planning and architecture whilst promoting environmental sustainability
* Work to protect our natural environment by challenging inappropriate development which fails to meet local housing needs and/or is harmful to the landscape
* Encourage the conservation and enhancement of the biodiversity of the South Hams.
