Objectives

The aim of the Association is improve the quality of life and well being of adults from South Derbyshire and surrounding areas who access our service. In particular and without limitation in the following ways:

A.To improve well-being, mental health and social integration by the provision of accessible day care services covering a range issues. This will include, but not is not limited to, mental health issues, learning disabilities, homelessness, drug and alcohol issues, social isolation and welfare issues.

B.To advance education for the public by providing advice and guidance upon questions relating to health and well-being.

C.To preserve, protect and promote the good health and well being of persons resident in the area of benefit by promoting public awareness of the problems that may arise for those persons suffering from mental health problems and social issues.

Activities

We run an open access drop in service with no waiting lists, where appointments are not needed.  We have a timetable of wide ranging activities designed to improve physical health and mental well being. We offer group sessions as well as one-to-one support.
