Objectives

South Asian Mental Health UK has been designed to deliver free professional mental health support for the South Asian community in the UK. Initially we are focussing on serving West London areas, such as Southall, Ealing, Uxbridge, and Hounslow, until we can expand across other regions. We ensure mental health services are made accessible to the community by providing translated resources, translators, COVID-related information around mental health and wellbeing, and information, support and guidance for those seeking additional support.

Activities

We signpost members to other services by matching service users with the correct organisation,  we promote culturally sensitive organisations and support groups, and work to reduce the stigma with accessing mental health support.
