The Somerset Rail to Trail Project is working in Somerset to transform as much of the disused Somerset and Dorset railway as possible into a right of way for non-motorised traffic, enabling pedestrians, equestrians, cyclists and mobility scooter users to access towns and villages across Somerset with a safe off-road route through the countryside.
We provide a structured and motivated organisation that will broker relationships between key stakeholders in the local area. This will in turn facilitate the ultimate goal of transforming the disused railway lines.
