We are a community-led not for profit Community Land Trust. Our mission is to provide sustainable, affordable housing for people in housing need in Somerset*. We also aim to provide workspace and opportunities for community/social enterprises – and where possible to combine these with our new homes.
We are a co-operative and a Community Benefit Society – led by our members. Our core membership is people who live or work in Somerset*.
* Including BANES and North Somerset.
Our aim is to provide affordable homes for rent, and opportunities for community enterprise that will benefit out tenants and the wider community, in the market towns and other urban areas in Somerset.
We currently manage one block of flats, two commercial units and have two affordable housing developments for over 30 new homes in total in the pipeline. We will be applying to become a Registered Provider of Social Housing.
