SC&R is an Industrial and provident Society registered as a Social Enterprise, which undertakes repairs and adaptations for elderly and disabled clients. Anything from a tap washer to a full extension. SC&R has its own stair lift company which provided both new and reconditioned lifts.

SC&R lease/repairs and purchase/repairs empty properties and brings them back into use for those in greatest housing need. In the process it provides onsite construction training to ex-offenders and long term unemployed. It works closely with local colleges and other voluntary sector organisations to look at overcoming the barriers to employment.

SC&R also runs a building materials reuse centre recycling unwanted building materials and in the process help train long term unemployed volunteers to produce wooden products, administration, warehousing etc.

SC&R are just about to take over the running of a furniture re-cycling project.
