Objectives

At Solihull Action through Advocacy (SAtA) our mission is “to enable the most vulnerable to have a voice and be heard; securing their rights and taking action to influence positive change”.

SAtA is a local charity that takes practical action to champion equality and social inclusion. For nearly 30 years we have provided support to some of Solihull’s most marginalised people; helping them to speak up for themselves, stand up for their rights as equal citizens and to be integrated and included in the social fabric of our Borough.

Activities

We work with over 500 people each year advocating for people with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

We do this through a range of services and activities ranging from statutory independent advocacy to community-based inclusion work and collective influencing. Everything we do is led by the people we work with and focused on helping them to achieve the things they hold important for themselves and their communities.
